Our beef is supplied by Farmers J. C. Oliver of Great Whittington who breed the finest Belted Galloway herd on their farms both in Great Whittington, and also at Haltwhistle. Click here for more about The Farms Please Note: All weights are approximate uncooked weight. |
| Tender Pork and Bacon |
| Our pork is supplied by Hunting Hall. At present Hunting Hall has a herd of 40 breeding sows that roam freely between their field and a large courting. Hunting Hall is also a finishing unit for the Rare Breed Survival Trust. |
| Naturally Reared Lamb |
| Our Lamb is supplied by Farmer Tim Oliver of who breeds both Sheep and Cattle on his farm in Great Whittington, N Matfen. |
| Poultry and Game |
| Our local free range chickens come from Thornbeck Farm in Norton. They are raised within 12 acres of lush green pastures and are fed on the finest corn with access to the farm's natural spring water. They also have purpose-built hen houses to sleep and shelter in. The birds come highly recommended by chef Rick Stein, and we personally recommend you experience the difference that traditional chicken farming methods make to the end quality of the product..... |
